School Board Approves 2026-2027 Academic Calendar
The Pine-Richland School Board approved the 2026-2027 Academic Calendar at their December 8, 2025, combined meeting.
Families and staff will notice some differences in this calendar compared to previous years. These adjustments were made for 2026-2027 to maximize student learning opportunities.
- The first day of school will be Tuesday, August 25.
- School will not be in session on the Monday following Thanksgiving.
- Winter break will run Thursday, December 24, through Friday, January 1.
- Spring break will be Thursday, March 25, and Friday, March 26, followed by a teacher/paraprofessional in-service/clerical day on Monday, March 29.
- Graduation will be held on Thursday, June 3.

- Teacher In-Service/Clerical Day—Friday, October 30
- Parent/Teacher Conferences/No School—Thursday, November 5, and Friday, November 6
- Thanksgiving Break—Thursday, November 26, Friday, November 27, and Monday, November 30
- Keystone Testing—Monday, December 7, through Friday, December 18
- Winter Break—Thursday, December 24, through Friday, January 1
- Keystone Testing—Monday, January 4, through Friday, January 15
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day/School Closed—Monday, January 18
- Teacher In-Service/Clerical Day—Monday, January 25
- Teacher In-Service Day—Monday, February 15*
- Spring Break—Thursday, March 25, through Friday, March 26
- Teacher/Paraprofessional In-Service/Clerical Day——Monday, March 29*
- ELA PSSA Testing—Monday, April 26, through Friday, April 30
- Math and Science PSSA Testing—Monday, May 3, through Friday, May 7
- Teacher In-Service Day—Friday, May 7*
- Math and Science PSSA Testing Makeup Days—Monday, May 10, through Friday, May 14
- Keystone Testing—Monday, May 17, through Friday, May 28
- Last Day for Seniors—Thursday, May 27
- Memorial Day/School Closed—Monday, May 31
- Last Day for Kindergarten—Wednesday, June 2
- Last Day for Grades 1-11—Thursday, June 3 (half day)
- Graduation—Thursday, June 3
*Emergency make-up days are scheduled for February 15, March 29 and May 7.
