Pine-Richland School Board Reorganizes
The Pine-Richland School Board held a reorganization meeting on December 3.

Mrs. Liz DeLosa (Region 1), Mrs. Amy Cafardi and Mrs. Melissa Vecchi (Region 2), and Mr. Randy Augustine (Region 3) were sworn into office by Mr. Marc Casciani, temporary board president (pictured). The four directors will serve a four-year term ending in 2029.
The board elected Mrs. Ashley Fortier as president and elected Mrs. Vecchi as vice president.
The board made several additional appointments:
- Mrs. DeLosa was appointed as the legislative representative to the Pennsylvania School Boards Association for a one-year term through November 2026.
- Mrs. Vecchi was appointed as the representative to the A.W. Beattie Career Center Joint Committee for a two-year term expiring in November 2027, joining Mrs. Leslie Miller, whose term continues through November 2026.
- Mrs. DeLosa was appointed as the representative to the Pine Township Parks and Recreation Board for 2026.
- Mr. Augustine was appointed as the Food Service Advisory and Wellness Committee Representative.
- Mr. Christopher Juzwick, director of financial and operational services, was reappointed as a delegate to Allegheny North Tax Collection Committee with Mr. Casciani, board treasurer, serving as an alternate.
Also serving on the Pine-Richland School Board are Mr. Philip Morrissette and Mr. Michael Wiethorn. Mrs. Barbara Williams serves as board secretary.
