Richland, Wexford Named to List of Best Elementary Schools in Pennsylvania

In its recent rankings of K-8 schools, U.S. News and World Report named Richland Elementary School #4 and Wexford Elementary #6 out of nearly 1,600 elementary schools ranked in Pennsylvania. Pine-Richland Middle School ranked #89 out of nearly 2,400 middle schools.

U.S. News and World Report assesses schools based on the number of students proficient or above proficient in math and reading/language arts state assessments. Scores are weighted within the context of socioeconomic demographics to ensure top-ranked schools succeed at educating all students.

The 2024 rankings are based on state assessments from the 2021-2022 school year.
