Log In for Virtual Learning
Kindergarten
Students in Kindergarten received a Clever badge (personalized QR code) during the materials and technology pick-up at your school. If your child misplaced their Clever badge, please reach out to the classroom or computer teacher to receive an additional copy. In the meantime, you can log on to www.prrams.org to view various apps, links, and help desk information.
Grades 1-3
Students should have received a “Clever” badge (personalized QR code) during the materials and technology pick-up at your school. This badge can be held up to your device’s web camera as you log on and provides a single-step sign-in to the critical curricular resources for students. If your child misplaced their Clever badge, please reach out to the classroom or computer teacher to receive an additional copy. The following step-by-step guide is designed to explain how to connect virtually. Families can log on to www.prrams.org to view various apps, links, and help desk information.
Grades 4-12
You will be logging on to Google Apps directly with your individualized credentials as you have in the past. A separate email that includes student login and password information will be sent to parents of students in Grade 4. The building offices should have provided any new families with their child’s unique log-in information. You can log on to www.prrams.org to view various apps, links, and help desk information. Teachers will be assisting students with the logistics of managing the online learning platforms and classroom meetings through either GoogleMeet (Grades 4-12) or Blackboard Collaborate (Grades 7-12).
Bringing Devices to School
Teachers will leverage these devices as teaching tools and teach classroom routines and procedures for in-person instruction as well. Plan to have your child(ren) transport the device to and from school safely in their backpack on a daily basis so that it can be used from home and school. Individual teachers will then express their expectations and preferences for devices in the classroom to families as a part of their communications (e.g. if they’re only needed on certain days versus all).
If you have any technology-related questions, please contact the PRSD Technology Department’s Student Support Team at (724) 443-1503 OR extension HELP (x4357).
