  • Class of 2019 Looks to the Future

    The Pine-Richland High School Class of 2019 is looking toward the future. Many students celebrated "Wear Your Future Day." They each wore t-shirts, sweatshirts or other gear announcing their plans for college, military or the workforce. This is a great way for students to share where they are headed this fall. In addition, students had the opportunity to spell out 2019 on the field at the stadium.

  • Musical Earns 5 Gene Kelly Nominations

    Pine-Richland High School earned five Gene Kelly Nominations for its production of "Guys & Dolls." Senior Tyler Hepler earned a Best Actor nomination. Senior Declan Allwein earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination, and senior Amariana Busa earned a Best Actress nomination. In addition, PRHS earned a Best All-Student Orchestra nomination and a Best Lighting nomination.

  • PRHS to Host Graduation

    Congratulations to the Class of 2019! The Class of 2019 Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, June 7th at 7:00 p.m. on the field at Pine-Richland Stadium, which is located at 704 Warrendale Rd in Gibsonia. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors in the high school auditorium.

  • Host an AFS Exchange Student

    AFS Intercultural Programs is seeking families now to host an AFS exchange student at Pine-Richland High School for the 2019-20 school year. As an AFS host family, you will welcome a new member into your home, share your everyday lives, and grow as you get to know one another. You’ll be surprised at how much you learn about yourself and your family and community by hosting a student from another culture.

  • HS Hosts Poetry Jam

    The Pine-Richland High School Poetry Jam has always been an event that shakes up the sometimes routine happenings at PR. Students from across the English department recite, sing, or even shout their poems, some written by a poet or, for the more brave, themselves.

  • All Eyes Will Be on Pittsburgh & PRHS Teacher

    Many will see a familiar face in Pittsburgh’s new marketing campaign aimed at showing the world that everyone is welcomed in Pittsburgh. Pine-Richland High School Art Teacher Ramon Riley is featured in the video. Mr. Riley is a director of an art studio, located near the Children’s Museum. He had just completed an exhibition of new works called “LOVENEVERENDING.”

  • Art Show Gets Underway

    Join us for a night to celebrate the arts at Pine-Richland High School's Annual Art show. The Show will be open to the public from 6-8 p.m. on Fri., April 26, and will highlight works from students in grades 9-12. Admission is free.

    The senior dinner dance will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 on the Gateway Clipper. Tickets will be on sale from May 6-17, 2019. See details and download permission slips.

  • Students Participate in PMEA Programs

    Pine-Richland High School junior Olivia McGeary was selected to perform at the Pennsylvania Music Educators All-State Choral program this year, which was held in Pittsburgh on April 6, 2019, at the David L.   • Students Raise More Than $24,000

    Pine-Richland High School students raised a little more than $24,005 in the annual Min-THON on April 6, 2019. Participants joined more than 90,000 students across the country in the fight to conquer childhood cancer.

  • Grad Selected for Princeton Scholar Service Initiative

    A Pine-Richland High School graduate is one, of 12 students at Princeton University, who has been selected for the 2019 cohort of the Scholars in the Nation’s Service Initiative (SINSI).

  • Students Earn Digital Media Awards

    Students from the PRHS Advanced Video and TV Production classes attended the 2019 Digital Media Arts Consortium’s Awards (DMAC) Ceremony in Canonsburg. Junior Brock Wolff earned a Best in Category Award for photo illustration.

    Pine-Richland High School finished first-place out of 21 teams at the Southwestern Pennsylvania BotsIQ preliminary rounds at Butler Community College.

    Peer -to-Peer is being named the 2019 Top Pittsburgh Regional Students in Action team. Team members will represent Pine-Richland at the national program.

  • Cadets Earn 1st at Air Force Drill Competition

    The PRHS AF-JROTC Drill Team earned first place overall at the Air Force Association Drill Competition at Parkersburg South High School in West Virginia on February 23, 2019. In addition, the team took first place in eight of the nine events they competed.
