Strategic Plan Goals
During the 2023-2027 Strategic Planning Process, the board met to discuss board goals in the strategic plan's Pursuit of Excellence category. The long-term board goal of "Refine and enhance the system of governance through school board training, evaluation, policy development and the strengthening of key communities." continues to be a focus point. One of the short-term board goals for 2024-2025 continues to be the review of board policies. Batch policy review for the 000s Local Board Procedures section is next in line for review along with miscellaneous policies that have revisions recommended by the Pennsylvania School Board Association (PSBA).
