  • Virtual Kindercamp Available

    While we will not be able to have large groups of folks coming in for the typical assessments, which occur during KinderCamp in June, we are sharing what we can now through video compilations and links to other resources. We are tentatively planning for a face-to-face KinderCamp experience on Monday and Tuesday, August 3rd and 4th, if conditions permit us to do so safely.

  • Neighborhood Hosts Superhero 5K

    Each year, Richland Elementary second-grade teachers host a hero unit every year that culminates with the whole grade (Richland) participating in the Superhero 5k at North Park put on by the Superhero Foundation/CASA. Since the program couldn't happen this year, one neighborhood wasn't going to let anything stop the hero run. s going to still “run” the 5k.

    It is with mixed emotions and heartfelt appreciation and gratitude that I will be resigning as the principal of Richland Elementary School. While my family and I are excited about our future opportunities in South Carolina, I will miss the students, staff, and families of Richland Elementary School.

    As we close out the 3rd quarter of the school year, we find ourselves learning and navigating through a new normal. During this unprecedented time, we can find comfort in our mission and PRide values. Although the delivery mechanism has changed, we will continue to Focus on Learning for Every Student Every Day. Additionally, the “R” (resiliency) and “I” (innovation) of our values will emerge and guide us through a productive and successful remainder of this school year.

    The topic of Health and Wellness has been a big part of the superintendent's messages. He has been reinforcing the main concepts of the PR Graduate Portrait. The elementary schools have been stressing fitness through the Morning Fit Club.

    Richland Elementary School second-grader Kiran Karthikeyan is ranked number 12 in the state in the “First In Math” Online Program. He ranked first in First in Math students Pennsylvania and among the top 50 players in 2019 as a first-grader.

  • Senior Rams Connect with Younger Rams

    Pine-Richland High School senior members of the Student Government Association are connecting with future Rams. They are talking with students at each elementary school about RAMS Way. Each quarter students will be reading and talking about the different elements of the initiative at all of the elementary schools including Richland, Hance, and Wexford.
