  • Heart & Humor to Highlight Musical

    Pine-Richland High School students will delight audiences with a comical view into the upside-down world of The Addams Family where feeling sad is their happiness and suffering pain is fun, but falling in love is the same whether you are an Addams or not. The shows get underway at 7:30 p.m. March 13, 14, 20 and 21, with a matinee performance on March 21 at 2 p.m. at Pine-Richland High School, which is located at 700 Warrendale Rd. in Gibsonia. A complimentary senior citizen performance will be hosted on March 12 at 4 p.m. The choral boosters will be hosting a spaghetti dinner from 4:30-6 p.m. on March 21.

  • Join Us for Information Night

    One of our strategic initiatives is to provide families with informational sessions to help them support their child or children. Throughout the country, the topic of vaping has drawn the attention of many. We would like to invite all PRHS & PRMS parents and families on March 2 at 6:30 p.m.to a presentation focused on the dangers of e-cigarettes, including JUULs, vape pens, and more.

  • Students Named Finalists in National Merit

    Four Pine-Richland High School students are being named finalists in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. Moving from semifinalist to finalist status are seniors Daniel Krill, Aidan Meyer, Gina Sabol, and Justin Waltrip.

  • Students Host Invention Thon

    Pine-Richland High School students organized and led a successful second-annual hackathon called Hack the Ram. Seniors Daniel Krill and Justin Waltrip, juniors Giannai Julio and Rebecca Peng, and sophomore Rand Hasan organized the program this year.

    Several Pine-Richland High Schools students earned Regional Scholastic Art Awards. Of the 27 awards earned by 17 PRHS students, six were Gold Key Awards.

  • Senior Earns 2nd at SkillsUSA Competition

    Pine-Richland High School senior Arden Webster who took second place at the SkillsUSA Competition on January 20, 2020. The competition took place at Forbes Road, and Parkway West career centers, Pittsburgh Technical College, Rosedale Technical College and Local 9. She is a third-year veterinary sciences student.

  • Students Move on in Quiz Show

    Three PRHS students are moving on in the next round of the Hometown High Q. Seniors Daniel Krill and Justin Waltrip and Junior Samuel Stella competed in the KDKA-TV quiz show November 23, 2019. The show aired on January 4 & 11, 2020. PRHS defeated teams from Eden Christian Academy and Elizabeth Forward.

  • Join Us for Tutorial on Scheduling

    In an effort to improve our scheduling process for families, we invite parents to an evening of interactive learning with our Program of Studies. The document will continue to be interactive through the high school website. We are inviting parents/guardians to join us on Monday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m. for a Program of Studies Tutorial, designed specifically for YOU. Computers will be available and we will be sharing how to access the document and highlight its many resources. In order to be prepared with devices for all participants, we ask attendees to respond here to confirm your attendance.

  • PRHS Proud to Present "The Addams Family" -- Accepting Playbill Ads

    PRHS will be presenting six performances of the comedy, The Addams Family. The production will open Thurs., Mar. 12, 2020 with a complimentary senior citizens show followed by performances running until Sat., Mar. 21, 2020. The musical boosters� ads committee is inviting community businesses to advertise in the show�s playbill. Additionally, the committee is accepting personal ads to honor musical participants.   • Students Learn about Careers in Pharmacy

    Pine-Richland High School students in the Anatomy, AP Biology, and Organic Chemistry classes got an up-close look at careers in pharmacy on December 17, 2020. This was not your ordinary presentation. The University of Pittsburgh brought the experts who launched an interactive simulation that enabled students to work with a patient. The simulator is known as SimMan. SimMan allows students to experience clinical scenarios.

  • Students Collect 6 Busloads of Toys

    PRHS Student Government members collected six busloads of toys on Dec. 6, 2019, 2019. They hosted a collection drive at all of the district schools.
