  • Swimmers and Divers to Compete at WPIALs

    Several Pine-Richland High School students will be competing in the WPIAL Championships. Divers compete on Feb. 22, 2020 at North Allegheny and swimmers at the University of Pittsburgh on Feb. 27-28.

  • Boys Basketball Moves on in WPIALs

    The Pine-Richland Boys Varsity/Junior Varsity Basketball Team will take on Upper St. Clair at North Hills on February 22, 2020, at 3:15 p.m. in the second round of WPIALs. The winner will move on to the semifinals on Feb. 26, 2020. Click headline for ticket details.

  • Gymnasts Earn 4th at WPIALs

    The PRHS Gymnastics Team placed fourth at the WPIAL Team Championships. Samantha Alexander became PR's first-ever advanced division all-around champion with a score of 37.65. Sam also won the uneven bars. Bria Reinert placed third on floor exercise. All the gymnasts qualified for the individual WPIALs.

  • MS Wrestling Rams #1 in County

    The Pine-Richland Middle School Wrestling Team is making headlines just like the high school team. The team earned the County Title this year. The tournament was hosted at Fox Chapel on January 17 and 18, 2020. Congratulations to the players and coaches.

    The Pine-Richland High School Girls Basketball Team will be traveling to Shaler on February 6, 2020, at 7:15 p.m. The team is fresh off a win against North Hills at home on February 3, 2020, with a final of 43-27.

  • Wrestling Hosts Best Buddies Night

    The Wrestling Team hosts Best Buddies Showcase on Feb. 5 and recognized seniors and middle-school wrestlers. The Wrestling Team hits the road to compete with Laurel Highlands for the William Jenkins Memorial Duals at 9:15 a.m. on February 8, 2020, at Laurel Highlands Middle School. WPIAL Section Individuals will take place at Fox Chapel High School at 9 a.m. on February 22, 2020. WPIAL Championships will be held on February 28, 2020, at Canon McMillan High School at 3 p.m.

    Six members of the Pine-Richland High School Hockey Team were chosen to participate in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League All-Star AAA Game on January 27, 2020.

  • Wrestling Moves on in WPIALs

    For the first time in 15 years, the Pine-Richland High School Wrestling Team is competing in the WPIALs. PRHS defeated Peters Township on Monday, January 27, 2020, at Canon Mac High School in the first round, 42-39. PR was stopped by the Waynesburg Wrestling Team, which was ranked #1 going into the match on January 29, 2020.

  • Register for Spring Sports

    If you have already registered for fall, winter, and/or spring sports and submitted physical forms at the beginning of the school year, you do not need to re-register. The PIAA Physical packet form is required for student athletic participation. Students without a physical on file will not be able to tryout.

  • PR's Victorious at County Wrestling Tournament

    The Allegheny County Wrestling Tournament hosted by Fox Chapel saw something for the first time in 15 years, a Pine-Richland victory. The tournament was loaded with 37 teams from every part of the county including many previous county and even state champions.

  • Wrestling Team Pins Victories

    Wrestler Nate Lukez earned his 100th victory on December 11, 2019, at Butler. His career record is 100-25. Nate is committing to West Point. Nate was one of four wrestlers that took four championship titles at the Steve DeAugustino Holiday Classic, held December 27-28 at West Mifflin.

  • Competition Cheer Team To Compete in PIAAs

    The Pine-Richland High School Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Team traveled to Hempfield Area High School on Saturday, January 4, 2020, for the 2020 Competitive Spirit Championships. The team took first place in the Small Varsity division and also took home the Silver Medal in the elusive AAA WPIAL title. Additionally, the team qualified for the PIAA Competitive Spirit Championships on January 9-10 in Hershey, PA, where they will compete for a state title.

  • Check Out Swimming & Diving Update

    The Pine-Richland High School Swimmers & Divers had an excellent meet on December 18, 2019. The final score for the PRHS Girls Team was 74 and Fox Chapel 111 and the PRHS Boys Team earned 92 and Fox Chapel 93. There were 13 more WPIAL cuts.
