Pine-Richland School District honored six staff members who are retiring at the end of this year. Together they logged more than 90 years with the district. They include Pine-Richland Custodial Supervisor Craig Schomaker, PR Maintenance Mechanic Thomas Hurley, Pine-Richland High School Custodian Janet Eveleth, Pine-Richland Middle School Math Teacher J. Robert Utz, Wexford Elementary Para Educator Debbie Dee, and Wexford Elementary Secretary Jan Hoffman.
Earlier this year, Director Facilities Management Gary Zang and PRMS Librarian Kathy Bateykefer retired.
This year’s retiree reception was hosted through Sodexo Food Service in conjunction with 2019 Sodexo Future Chef Challenge winner Tessa Lutz, who shared her Apple Taco Tastic dish.
The fourth-grader wowed judges with her recipe, which that earned first place for originality, taste, ease of presentation, kid-friendliness, and use of healthy ingredients. Click here for more details.
