Pine-Richland High School, Eden Hall Upper Elementary, and Richland Elementary are currently seeking individuals to serve as Paraprofessionals.
Paraprofessionals provide appropriate academic, behavioral and emotional support to students with disabilities or behavior issues, which could range from mild to severe. Duties are performed under the direction of the building principal, working collaboratively with the special education teacher and/or general education teacher, to help the student achieve the highest level of independent functioning possible when appropriate.
The starting rate for Paraprofessionals is $12.45/hour with full access to the school districts benefit program (i.e., family medical, dental, and vision insurances), which is second-to-none in terms of coverage and provided at a very reasonable cost to the employee. The position also includes paid time off and participation in the state's retirement program for public school employees.
If you are interested or know someone who is, please have them go to the district's Job Applicant Center via this link and submit an application. If you have questions, please reach out to Director of Human Resources & Legal Affairs Owen Kenney via email or via phone at 724-625-7773, ext. 6201.
