Children Join us as Pine-Richland School District hosts its first Food Service Advisory & Wellness Committee meeting for the 2019-2020 School Year from 8-9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.
An evening session will be held from 6-7 p.m. for those who cannot attend the morning session.
Both meetings will be held in the Pine-Richland Central Office Dewitt Blank Conference Room, 702 Warrendale Rd. in Gibsonia.
The purpose of the advisory & wellness committee is to provide new information about the foodservice program at PRSD and to continue to take feedback and suggestions from the larger district community to share with food service management.
The committee also addresses any wellness needs of the students ranging from nutrition, activities or mental health. The committee is made up of administrators, board members, teachers, parents, and students.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in discussions regarding menu planning, food products, nutrition, and needs associated with the sustainability of food service to serve the needs of the community.
Future meetings will be listed in Happenings, the weekly eBlast.
