When: Tuesday, October 22, 2019
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm

The Pine-Richland School District Student Services and Psychological Services invite parents and community members to a special workshop facilitated by the Highmark Caring Place, A Center for Grieving Children, Adolescents, and Their Families.

The workshop will provide an introduction to grief, what is known as the “spirals of grief,” an understanding of what is lost, & an overview of how grief affects children, teens, and families. In addition, experts will review support services for grieving children, teens, and their families.

The program is open to parents and community members at 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, in the Eden Hall Upper Elementary School Large Group Instruction Room (LGI) located at 3900 Bakerstown Rd. in Gibsonia. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.

The Caring Place is a safe place in which grieving children and families can come together and be with others who understand what they’re going through and offers services at no charge to grieving families from throughout the community. Children and their families get support and encouragement from each other, facilitated by trained adult volunteers.
