Opportunities for Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences - Pictures of Buildings

Parent-Teacher Conference Days:

Pine-Richland School District sets aside time in November for families to have the opportunity to have face-to-face conferences with teachers. As you know, these one-to-one sessions can be a powerful opportunity to have a direct discussion about your child's progress and performance. Since the process for scheduling conferences may vary slightly between schools, please work directly with the staff at that school to make arrangements.

In most cases, teachers at the elementary school will reach out to all of their students' families. At the secondary level, teachers will directly contact parents/guardians of students, who they believe would benefit from a conference. Teachers will be able to talk about the results of the universal screener STAR 360 with K-6 families and CogAT 7 with second and fifth-grade families at the conferences.
If you are not contacted by a teacher for a conference on the scheduled conference days or if your family or work obligations, make it difficult, you may request a conference at any other time during the year by contacting your child's team leader or guidance counselor.
