Pick-Up Window & Procedures

Dear Parents and Guardians,
 
We appreciate the attention and support you have given to the Pine-Richland School District’s Continuity of Learning Plan over the past several weeks. You have exhibited resiliency and done an amazing job in such a short period of time in supporting your child’s learning at home.
 
As promised, we developed a plan for each building which will ensure that personal belongings can be collected and library books can be dropped off at the school from May 20-22 and 26-27, 2020. (Chromebooks and textbooks should remain at home for students in K - 11 unless the student is permanently leaving the district.)
 
Before you take a look at the specific pick-up window and procedures established for each individual building, we want to reiterate that Pine-Richland schools and facilities remain closed. The precautions we have established will allow for the pickup of materials while meeting guidelines.
 
We need your help in following these public health guidelines during the pick-up window and during the closure. Students, parents, and others should not be gathering or utilizing campus grounds. Facilities - including all fields and stadiums - remain closed except for the pick-up window.
 
In addition, we will be following the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines. Parents and children must wear masks (required), gloves are encouraged (not required) and all visitors must be feeling well and healthy to retrieve items at the building. Due to social distancing guidelines, we are asking you to limit your visit to one parent/guardian along with the student. You should stay at least six feet away from any other visitors. Based upon the number of students and parents in a building at one time, staff may ask some to wait outside or in their cars until others exit the building.
