School Meals Available

Dear Pine-Richland Families:

Pine-Richland School District’s food service provider Sodexo is pleased to offer families free meals through the end of the 2020-2021 school year regardless of income thanks to a meal waiver from the United States Department of Agriculture. This allows ALL children to have access to nutritious food as the nation recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.

When students purchase a complete meal in school or pick up meals, their accounts will not be charged. Please note when purchasing extra snacks and sides at schools, student accounts will be charged for those items.

ALL students participating in the hybrid model can have family members pick up meals for the days they are studying virtually. Our 100% virtual students can have family members pick up meals for the entire week.

How Does It Work?

  • Click on this link each week prior to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The form opens on Wednesdays and closes on Sunday night.

  • By completing the form, food services members can prepare the meals you need for the upcoming week.

  • Via the form, families can pick the location and time to pick up the meals each week. There are pickup options in the morning and afternoon. Please keep the information handy after you register.

  • If you have one hybrid student and one 100% virtual student, we will provide all your meals on the pick-up date/time you choose.
Important Notes
●     Families can indicate if special consideration needs to be given regarding allergies.
●     Your student does not have to be present to pick up meals. Families can send one person (parent/guardian, sibling, neighbor, friend, grandparent, or nanny/babysitter) to pick up the meals for all students in the family. Whoever is picking up meals will need to confirm the name(s) of students upon arrival.
●     Families will be picking up meals for the entire week (breakfast and lunch).
●     Families who take advantage of this convenience are not taking meals from other families. As we shared, the meals are available to ALL children.
