Review Transportation Reminders

Bus Information
Dear Families,
As we look forward to welcoming back families at Pine-Richland School District, all families should double-check their students' transportation information in the Sapphire Community Portal for final bus number assignments and stops.  Student Transportation of America has been working on making the best route efficiencies.
Parents/guardians can log on to Sapphire and click on "My Backpack" and then "Student Information" to see your student's bus information. In case you have forgotten how to log on to Sapphire, please visit this link. You can email the community portal help desk at if you are having difficulties.
We ask each student to arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes prior to his or her scheduled pickup time in the morning and to allow a 10-minute window as students return home in the afternoon.
You can review other school transportation information on our website via this link.
Parent Drop-off and Pick-up
Similar to last year, it is extremely helpful - at this time - if some parents can drive their children to school to reduce the total number of students on buses. The traffic patterns for parent drop-off and pick-up have been established at each school. These are the same patterns used last year that worked well. Click on the school to view the drop-off and pick-up patterns (i.e., PRHSPRMSEHUEHanceRichland and Wexford).
Kindergarten Families
As a reminder, all afternoon kindergarten students do need a parent to greet them at the bus stop in the afternoon. All afternoon kindergarten students will receive an orange Kindergarten Visual ID tag from the school. This tag should remain on the student's backpack. This ID tag will identify your student as a kindergarten student for the bus driver.
Health & Safety Plan
Per the CDC, masks are required to be worn by passengers and drivers on school buses. In addition, you can visit this link to review the Pine-Richland Health & Safety Plan.
Should you have any questions, please contact Transportation Coordinator Kimberly Charney at 724-625-7773, ext. 6200.
