Congratulations to Mrs. Kelly Gustafson, principal of Wexford Elementary, on being named a Most Valuable Principal by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation!

Mrs. Gustafson is one of 15 principals selected for this honor out of more than 100 principals nominated. She wins two tickets to the March 14 Penguins-Canadiens game, where all selected principals will be recognized. She also will receive a custom Penguins jersey and a $1,000 donation for Wexford Elementary School.

The award recognizes principals who demonstrate an innovative approach to learning, a continuous strive for excellence, and a passion for their school and students, and highlights the impact Mrs. Gustafson has had on her school community.

This award is provided by the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, Grable Foundation and Allegheny Intermediate Unit.
