The Pine-Richland Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce the fifth annual Athletic Hall of Fame Class of Inductees. The Pine-Richland Athletic Hall of Fame honors and recognizes those associated with Pine-Richland athletics who have experienced significant accomplishments in their chosen sport or sports.

On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, the Pine-Richland Athletic Hall of Fame Selection Committee met to review the submitted nominations. Based on the hall of fame bylaws, five nominees and one team were selected to be inducted into the 2023 class, which were approved by the Pine-Richland School Board on June 26, 2023:

• Michael Buterbaugh, 1971—Football and Basketball
• Bill Colpo, 1969—Football, Wrestling and Track & Field 
• Matthew Crummy, 1999—Soccer, Hockey and Track & Field
• Kevin McCabe, 2003—Football
• Kristen Murslack, 2013—Swimming and Soccer
• 1960 Football Team—Finished 8-1 and were the first group of football athletes to challenge for a berth in the WPIAL playoff system

The inductees will be recognized at 6:45 pm on Friday, October 6, 2023, prior to the Pine-Richland home football game. The banquet celebration will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023, in the Pine-Richland High School Cafeteria.
