Pine-Richland Middle School seventh-grader Vaughn Spencer earned first place at the Pennsylvania Junior High Wrestling State Championships this weekend in Johnstown in the 138lb division.

This is Vaughn’s second state title as he won last year in the youth championships. Vaughn and his older brother are the only two in Pine-Richland history to win the middle school state championship.

In addition, seventh-grader Maclane Miller placed sixth at the championships.
