Students win Kindness and Leadership Awards

Pine-Richland Middle School awarded 8th grade awards to several students on June 2, 2021.  

Six students received the Pittsburgh Foundation award, which is an award funded by the Elva K. Williams Memorial Fund.  These students were chosen for their kindness and consideration toward others.  They were awarded  with a monetary gift.  The winners include: Claire Dosch, Kendall Kirkland, Heath Cwynar, Michael Tunder, Nadia Hines, Elizabeth Brough. Two 8th grade students were also chosen for the American Legion Award.  The American Legion winners this year were Andrew Stewart and Eliza Lazzaro. (Left picture, pictured L-R) This award is awarded to only two students in the 8th-grade who demonstrate honor, courage, leadership, patriotism, scholarship, and service. The students were awarded with a medal and certificate.
