Students at Pine-Richland Middle School really wanted a chance to be “Principal for a Day,” so student government hosted a contest. Student Government representatives were up for the challenge of making this happen, so they hosted a contest to see which student could dress up the most for spirit week. The prize was a chance to be a principal or a day.
“[Students] were so cute and would ask if they could carry a clipboard and stuff that you never think kids pay attention to at all,” said Teacher Anne Harris-Crowe.
The winners were eighth-grader Brad Gelly and seventh-graders Chloe Kassalen and Logan Alexander.
Chloe is shown with Principal David Kristofic, as she begins her day as a principal on February 14, 2019.
