Eden Hall Collage

Fit Club
Health and wellness continue to be an area of focus at Eden Hall. This is visible by the number of students participating in the EHUE Morning Fit Club, students actively engaged during recess, the number of students taking part in our after school intramural program, and various Explore Club opportunities. All students recently received an invitation from Mr. Smith to participate in a Health and Wellness Challenge that started in January. Students, along with staff and parents, can accept this challenge by clicking this link. This is a personal commitment to focus on identified key areas within the Health and Wellness category. These areas are also part of our district’s Health and Physical Education Program Review. Please take a few minutes to review this challenge with your child and consider participating together as a family.
LitFest
The EHUE LitFest2020 is set to take place at Eden Hall on January 31. LitFest2020 is a daylong celebration of all types of literacy. The success of this event is largely dependent on the generosity of volunteers. We are still in need of several volunteers to facilitate 40-minute sessions with groups of students. LitFest presenters can be experts in (or passionate) about a specific topic and want to share that passion with students. More information can be found using the EHUE LitFest 2020 link. Thank you in advance for helping to make this day special for our students.
RAMS Way
The first half of the year has been a success for The RAMS Way. The students at EHUE have been working hard to follow the expectations in key areas including the bus, cafeteria, bathrooms, classrooms, hallways, and the playground. Students have been entered in drawings for homework passes, lunch with a buddy, extra recess, and gift cards. As a school, we earned 30,000 dojo points and celebrated with our first school-wide reward in October...our Monster Mash dance party! We upped the ante and set 40,000 as our new goal. Shortly after winter break, we were able to announce that we met that goal as well! The students will be enjoying a movie reward that ties directly into the principles behind The RAMS Way and will continue that learning in their neighborhood meetings with a specially designed lesson. The reward will be a great kickoff for our RAMS Way refresher week. During this week, the students and teachers will be exposed to new lessons that reinforce how to do it The RAMS Way. Finally, our student committee, in partnership with the PTO, will be hosting a breakfast for our bus drivers on January 29 as a way to thank them for embracing the RAMS Way.
