Eden Hall Programming

Dec. 17, 2014

Dear Parents/Guardians:

As promised, the Pine-Richland School District prepared answers to questions regarding the programming at Eden Hall Upper Elementary School.

You may recall on November 24, 2014 at an Academic Achievement Committee Meeting, administrators provided an overview of programming changes that were recommended and implemented at Eden Hall Upper Elementary School.

Administrators discussed the four key themes that emerged from focus groups that were conducted with teachers, students and parents over the course of last year.

The themes included:

  • Collaboration
  • Consistency
  • Additional Opportunities for All Students
  • Getting to Know Students Well to Support Their Diverse Needs

The presentation also discussed the progress of the new programming implementation through the first 10 weeks of school.  Strengths and needs were highlighted.

In addition, the following strategic initiatives were integrated into the presentation to show how they are interrelated and support the key themes: curriculum review, response to instruction & intervention and technology.

During the meeting, parents and community members submitted questions that they had about the programming at Eden Hall.
