Students Selected for PMEA Honors Band

Students Selected for PMEA Honors Band Nearly a dozen Eden Hall Upper Elementary sixth-graders from Pine-Richland School District was selected for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) Honor Band Festival at Chartiers Valley Intermediate School on May 18, 2019. The students had a great experience making music with 155 other students from neighboring school districts.

Participating sixth-grade students included Abigail Anderson, Elaina Anderson, Grace Hanselman, Kendell Kirkland, Eliza Lazzaro, Nathan Lee, Liam Ray, Will Tamburri, Jillian Uzelac, Skylar Warren, and Solomon Weigand. The guest conductor was Dr. John R. Pastin, Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy (retired).

“The students had a fantastic experience making music with 155 other students from neighboring school districts,” said Band Teachers Benjamin Coulter and Jeff Nicodemus.
