Eden Hall Honors 6th Graders

Eden Hall Honors 6th Graders On June 6, 2019, Eden Hall Upper Elementary School said goodbye to their sixth graders. Eden Hall Upper Elementary School celebrated its sixth-graders for all their hard work and wished them nothing but the best in their futures. Parents, grandparents, friends, and staff all packed the auditorium to support their sons, daughters, and students in their accomplishments at Eden Hall.

The ceremony started off with the Assistant Principal Joseph Domagala introducing students, who led family, friends, students, and staff in the Pledge of Allegiance. These students included Josif Tzvionnas, Victoria Roccia, Josua Lanyard, and Lauren Marsilio. After the Pledge of Allegiance, the Sixth Grade All-Star Chorus sang the National Anthem. Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education & Curriculum Kristen Silbaugh recognized the administration for their dedication to the students.

Organizers also thanked the PTO for everything that they have done and everything they continue to do. They honored them with a beautiful boutique of flowers.

Sixth-graders Erin and Anna announced the grand total raised for Team Tessa. Erin and Anna picked this fundraiser because they wanted to help out a local family in need. Team Tessa is a foundation started for a family of Pine-Richland School District whose daughter was diagnosed with cancer. The grand total that was raised is $6,608.99.

To end the ceremony Mr. Smith gave some final words of encouragement as the sixth graders start this new chapter of their lives.

“Your parents are so very proud of all of you and have such high hopes for you,” said Mr. Smith.

He then went on to give some advice to the students Mr. Smith said, “One of the main points of my speech is to be self-accepting and please do not compare yourself to others. You are perfect the way you are.”

Good luck to the sixth graders as they take their next step.
