Review Principal's September 10 Message

Dear RES Ram Families and Students,
We completed eight days of school -- congratulations! We have been working really hard to establish routines and expectations in the building in order for all of our Rams to be successful. We have been discussing two main sets of expectations: the RAMS Way and the BIG 3!
The RAMS Way is our set of behavioral expectations in the building. It stands for Respectful, Accountable, Motivated and Safe. We’ve been discussing these expectations for two weeks and even had grade level assemblies this week.
The BIG 3 refers to our health and safety expectations of wearing the mask to cover the chin to the nose, washing and sanitizing hands, and keeping their physical distance from others inside the building. Our students are working so hard to practice the BIG 3. Please help to remind them that their masks should cover from their nose to their chins; if masks are not worn properly, they could be at risk for quarantine.
Please check in with your students to see if they can tell you what both of these stand for and how they help them throughout the school day. I know I am so proud of our start to the school year and all of the hard work already put in by students and our teachers and staff.
Please join us for our first PTO Meeting in the library or cafeteria (depending on number of attendees) from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on September 13. Our PTO will be surveying families to see what time of day is preferred by families for future meetings and if people prefer in person or virtual.
Thanks for the great start!
With PRide,
Ms. Jenna L. Sloan
