Second-grade students at Richland Elementary are learning about influential black people during Black History Month.

Ruby Bridges was a leader who demonstrated courage and bravery as a small child.  She helped to show the world that we can all make a change.  One of Ruby's famous quotes is: Somebody has to have the courage enough to stand up and make a change.
