I would first like to offer a great deal of appreciation to our RES teachers and staff who work tirelessly to make OUR school the best for kids. From focusing on the content and academics, to developing genuine relationships and warm environments, they deserve appreciation each and every day. Thank you, also, to our PTO and the many volunteers who contributed to making this week filled with treats and gratitude for the staff. It was nice to see the smiles on their faces as they enjoyed them and felt the warmth from parents and students.
Secondly, many congratulations to our third grade students for celebrating their knowledge on the PSSA tests. Over the past two weeks, they took a total of five sections, three ELA, two math, and really focused hard to “rock that test!” No matter their performance result, they should all hold their heads high as they gave their very best effort.
And, lastly, I would like to encourage you all to check out Dr. Miller’s blog on the website where he is detailing his “Day in the Life” experience shadowing students in all grades across the district. This week, he shadowed Kelsey in Mrs. Smith’s class on Tuesday, and Cameron in Miss Boss’s class on Thursday. You can read his blog posts by clicking HERE.
