Attendance - What Time Does the School Day Begin

Pine-Richland High School school day begins at 7:20 a.m.  Therefore, students must be in their Homeroom by 7:20 a.m.  At 7:18 a.m., the back doors lock, and students arriving after that time must enter the building through the front office.  All students arriving at 7:19 or after are marked as Tardy. When driving to school, students and parents should allow enough time for traffic to arrive at school on time.

Pine-Richland implemented the Rapid Call System this year for the safety of all students. This call is generated in the Homeroom Period. It is the responsibility of students to ensure that their Homeroom teachers see them before going to any other section of the building. A call to parents goes out immediately after Homeroom. The parents of absent and tardy students will receive a call.
