FINALS BELL SCHEDULE: Today we will be following a Finals Bell Schedule. Exam periods today will be periods 3 and 10. Good luck.

FORENSICS: The high school Forensics Team will hold its final Fun Friday after school today in room 106.  If you are interested in some end of the week fun and maybe the forensics team, feel free to join us. Everyone is invited.  For more information, see any team officer.

ART NEWS: Art students are reminded to pick up any remaining artwork left in the art classrooms by Friday, May 31st.  All artwork left after that date will be recycled.  Do not let your fine work end up in a landfill.  Please take the initiative to retrieve these so that year-end cleaning may begin.

AP ART HISTORY: Students registered for AP Art History should attend a brief meeting in room 426 on Monday, June 3rd during homeroom.  Mr. Thearle will go over some expectations for the class and summer assignment.

AP STUDIO ART:  All students registered for AP Studio Art next year should attend a brief meeting after school on Tuesday, May 28th, starting promptly at 2:30 p.m.  Summer Assignments will be distributed, and there will be an information session with the current AP Studio Art class.  Hope to see you then!

AP ENGLISH: There are mandatory meetings regarding summer work in room 102 after school on Tuesday, May 28th and Wednesday, May 29th for any 10th-grade student registered to take AP English 11 next year.   You are expected to attend one of these meetings only. The meeting should last around 20 minutes. See Mr. Gaetano in room 102 with questions.

AP LITERATURE:  There will be a mandatory meeting next Thursday, May 30th, after school in the Old LGI for students taking AP literature and composition next year. The meeting will begin at 2:30 p.m. 

PEER 2 PEER: The last Peer 2 Peer meeting of the year has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 28th in the Steam LGI. Leadership apps will be available for next year at this meeting Please check Google classroom for details.

RAMBUNCTIOUS: Calling all beatboxers and/or singers! Pine-Richland's a cappella group Rambunctious is holding auditions for next year's group on Wednesday, May 29th and Wednesday, June 5th. Come on the 29th with a prepared 30 to 60-second pop/alternative song. Sign-ups are outside the choir room, room 1. No choir or a cappella experience necessary.

AP PSYCHOLOGY: There will be a meeting in the Global Studies room on Tuesday, May 28th during Homeroom for all students enrolled in AP Psychology next year. Please check in to homeroom and report immediately to the Global Studies room. Important information for next year, including the summer assignment, will be shared.

NATIONAL HONORS SOCIETY: NHS will be hosting a Final Review Session after school on Wednesday, May 29th from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Global Studies. Tutors will be on hand to help students study for a variety of classes including, but not limited to Chemistry, AP Euro, APUSH, Physics, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus German, Spanish, French, Biology, Geometry, Anatomy, and Computer Programming. You do not have to be in NHS to attend. All are welcome.

ATTENTION SENIORS: Be sure to check your PR-rams email account for an invitation to the senior recognition ceremony. The event will take place on June 5th at 7:00 p.m. An RSVP is required! Please complete the Google Form that is in the invitation. 

GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS: Seniors if you ordered graduation announcements, please pick them up in the Principal’s Office.

SENIOR DINNER DANCE: The Senior Dinner Dance will be held on Friday, May 31st from 7:30-10 on the Gateway Clipper.  Boarding starts at 6:45. Permission slips available outside of room 210 (Mrs. Sipe). Ticket prices are $40 until May 24th.  No tickets will be sold after May 24th. A bus will be available for an additional $5 if we have enough people to ride it.  There is a pirate game that night and students are encouraged to ride the bus.  Please direct any questions to Mrs. Sipe in room 210.

FIELD HOCKEY: Support PR Field Hockey on Tuesday, May 28th, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., when they host a Dine Out night fundraiser at Chipotle in Wexford. Tell the cashier you are supporting the cause to make sure that 33% of the proceeds will be donated to Pine-Richland Girl's Field Hockey.

BOY’S GOLF: Attention all boys interested in trying out for the golf team next year. There will be a meeting in room 329 after school on Wednesday, May 29th with coach Seybert.

GIRL’S GOLF: Girls interested in playing golf next year there is a mandatory meeting Wednesday, May 29th after school until 4:00 p.m. in room 25 at the high school. Bring a driver, 7- iron, and wedge with you, if you have them. Please email Mr. Slimm if you have any questions or if you cannot attend the meeting.

BOY’S CROSS-COUNTRY: On Thursday, May 30th, there will be a meeting for all boys who are interested in running cross-country this fall. They will meet in room 44 after school. See Mr. Connolly for further information.

GIRL’S CROSS-COUNTRY: On Tuesday, June 4th there will be a meeting for all girls who are interested in running cross-country this fall. They will meet in room 44 after school. See Mr. Connolly for further information.

GIRL’S LACROSSE: Today the Varsity team will face Mount Lebanon in the WPIAL Consolation Game, with the winner advancing to the PIAA State Playoffs. Game time is at 4:30 p.m. at Robert Morris University.

BOY’S LACROSSE: Tonight the Varsity team will face Mount Lebanon for the WPIAL Championship. Game time is at 8:00 p.m. at Robert Morris University.

CREW: Today and tomorrow, the Varsity and JV teams will race in the SRAA Nationals, held at Dillon Lake in Nashport, Ohio. Good luck teams.

TRACK & FIELD: Good luck to the members of the Varsity team who will compete today and tomorrow in the PIAA State Championships held at Shippensburg University.

BASEBALL: This past Wednesday, the varsity team defeated Shaler Area by a score of 6 to 0. With the win, the Rams move on to the WPIAL Championship game against Penn Trafford. The game will be played at Wild Things Park in Washington, PA on May 28th or the 29th. Stay tuned to PRTV or check the Meadow for updates.
