The Pittsburgh Job Corps Center is able to sponsor Income/PELL grant eligible students (age 17-24) to attend CCAC. Open enrollment is on June 20, 2019, 6:00 pm, at the CCAC North Campus. 
The University of Pittsburgh is offering The Bridge, a Summer Prep and Leadership Academy. Interested 10th and 11th grade students can visit Pitt's website or check their school email for additional information.

PNC Bank's Corporate Controller's Office is looking to hire a high school graduate (June 2019) for the summer. Criteria would be someone pursuing a Finance or Accounting degree and who currently has strong grades along with a desire to work in Pittsburgh upon completion of college. Interested seniors should check their school email for additional information. 

Chatham University - Eden Campus, is hosting Camp College for rising juniors and seniors. Interested students should check their school district email for additional information. Program is limited to 60 students.

Students looking for summer enrichment opportunities should check out Teen Life online or stop down to the Guidance Office for a copy of Collegewise's Summer Planning Guide.

Summer Discovery is a pre-college enrichment program for high school and middle school students that combine academics with fun, activities, and sports. Courses are taught by university faculty. Students experience college life while developing social skills. Click here to access additional information and an application.

Gettysburg College is offering multiple summer academic camps. Interested students should check their school email or Naviance accounts for additional information.

The Engineering Summer Academy at Penn (ESAP) welcomes highly motivated and talented students to explore Engineering at the college level.  This program is open to rising 10th-12th graders. Additional information, including applications can be found on their website.


Three Rivers Desk and Derrick Club is offering a scholarship to students planning to pursue a four-year energy-related degree from a college or university, or those enrolled in a Trade or Vocational degree program at an accredited Western Pennsylvania school, to learn an industry-related skill or trade. The II-VI Scholarship foundation has announced scholarships for current seniors and college level students entering the fields of math, science and engineering. All applicants need to fulfill a 360 hour experience outside of academia. Current high school seniors have until August 31st to do so. Additional information and applications are available here. The $1000.00 Pureland Supply Scholarship is open for students who have been accepted to an accredited community college, vocational college, technical school, or trade School. Click here to access the application. Deadline: June 1, 2019
The Horatio Alger National Career and Technical Scholarship Program is now open for students pursuing a 2 year or less career or technical education. Additional information is in Naviance. Deadline: June 15, 2019
Mesothelioma Scholarship: This scholarship is available to students in colleges and universities throughout the United States. Applications and essay prompt are available on their website. Deadline: July 20, 2019
Philly Law is offering a $1,000 scholarship contest to graduating seniors who write an essay about their biggest influence. Click here to access application. Deadline: August 1, 2019
