Senior Makes Fall Plans

Player Pine-Richland High School senior Will Sangpachatanaruk announced he will play soccer at Johns Hopkins University. The soccer forward will study chemical and biomolecular engineering this fall.

Will is finishing up his senior year as captain of the PRHS Varsity Soccer Team.  He played varsity level soccer all four years and was a varsity starter as a sophomore, junior, and senior.

He was named to the Big 56 All-Section First Team last year and this year. As a senior, he was named to the WPIAL All-Section First Team and All-WPIAL.

This spring he plans to continue to play with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. In 2017-18, he was part of the Boys Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) All-Conference Team of the Season, and he attended the (ECNL) Boys Training Camp.

“I am proud to announce my commitment to continuing my athletic and academic career at Johns Hopkins University,” said Will. “I would like to thank Dave Nicholas and the whole Riverhounds organization for helping me through the recruiting process. I would also like to thank my PineRichland teammates, PRHS Coach Jordan Wiegand, and most importantly my family for supporting me all of these years.”
