Director of Athletics Shares Message with Community

Director of Athletics Dear Pine-Richland Community,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to express how honored I am to serve the students and the community in my role as director of athletics. During my brief tenure thus far, I can not help but notice a concentrated effort on behalf of everyone I have encountered to emphasize the mission to focus on learning for every student every day. Each day I have observed our student-athletes, coaches, and staff modeling the PR PRIDE  values: Personal Growth, Resiliency, Innovation, Diverse Opportunities, and engagement. PRIDE seems to be an integral part of the Pine-Richland community, and I am excited to be a part of it.
Pine-Richland Office of Athletics (Images of teams)My professional philosophy is to develop an athletic department that is committed to having our program serve as an extension of the overall educational mission of the school district. I consider athletics to be an integral part of the educational experience - providing an opportunity for students to discover, learn, develop and ultimately exceed both their physical and mental limits.
I believe that competing on an athletic team at Pine-Richland is a privilege that provides the student-athletes with an opportunity to represent the school and the community to the best of their abilities. In return, all students who compete on our teams will be empowered to learn and develop valuable life skills such as time management, leadership, teamwork, and perseverance.
We have tremendous student-athletes, coaches, and fans on and off campus - all striving to improve daily. I am excited to be part of the rich tradition of interscholastic athletics here at Pine-Richland and look forward to supporting the students and the community alike.
I invite you to join us at one or more of our athletic events during the remainder of the winter and the upcoming spring seasons.
Go Rams!
