Girls Lacrosse Players Compete at Nationals

Players from Girls Lacrosse Represent PR at National Tournament Two of Pine-Richlands Girls Lacrosse’s own represented the high school at the 2019 U.S. Lacrosse Women's National Tournament on May 25-26 2019, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Junior Olivia Hanulak and sophomore Mia Petzuk represented their team in Baltimore by playing for the Pittsburgh team in this elite tournament. The teams within this tournament are made up of high school players from grades 9-11 and are organized by subregion. Possible players are selected after competing in a tryout process that whittles the number of participants to a roster of 20 elite players.

Not only was it an honor for these two women to play at a national level, but their coach also got to coach them at a national level. Coach Brittany Adams, head coach of Pine-Richland Girls Lacrosse, was given the honor of coaching the Pittsburgh region and Western Pennsylvania area.
