Senior Tennis Player Commits to Lafayette

Senior Tennis Player Commits to Layfayette Senior Alyssa Sarver of Pine-Richland High School signed to play tennis at Lafayette College. She is planning to double major in computer science and economics. During her four years at Pine-Richland High School, she earned the highest honor roll all four years and was a member of the National Honors Society. She is a tennis instructor at the Treesdale Country Club and volunteers at Alpha Fitness and Tennis.

Alyssa was a four-time varsity letter recipient, captain of the tennis team her senior year, and United States Tennis Association national player. In 2018 she helped her high school team earn second place in the WPIAL Championships, and qualify for the PIAA Team Tennis Championship for the first time ever. She helped earned section doubles championship title, earned second place at WPIAL doubles, and earned second place in the PIAA States Double Championship game.

Alyssa said, “I look forward to playing at a higher level, and it's something I worked hard to achieve. The opportunity to play D1 tennis for Lafayette in the Patriot League is the perfect fit for me both athletically and academically.”
