September 15, 2023

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your support in helping your children as they are settling into their new routines for the 2023-24 school year. Last week’s Meet the Teacher evening was a great opportunity for our teachers to share the exciting learning opportunities your children will experience this year.  Your children have displayed an enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. That, combined with our dedicated teaching staff’s passion, creates a tremendous opportunity for academic, behavioral, and social growth for all of our students.

As we look ahead, we are excited about the upcoming Homecoming Week.  We encourage you to join us in supporting our community by participating in our district’s Homecoming Week activities. Pine-Richland Middle School will be participating in Spirit Week, and we have designated dress-up themes for each day. Please see below for Pine-Richland High School and Middle School theme days:

  • Monday: Jersey Day
  • Tuesday: Twin Day
  • Wednesday: PJ Day
  • Thursday: Groutfit Day (Grey Day)
  • Friday: Green and White Day

To kick off the school year on a positive note, we held class meetings where we covered a wide range of topics. These discussions included information about school clubs and activities, as well as an introduction to our R. A. M. S. (Respectful, Accountable, Motivated and Safe) Way program.  Additionally, we reviewed expected student behaviors at school and school-sponsored events, emphasizing our commitment to not tolerating any form of discrimination or harassment based on a student’s race, color, religion, sex, gender and handicap/disability.

We kindly ask you to take a moment to review and sign the “2023-24 Annual Acknowledgement Form,” which can be found in the Student Data Forms folder in the Sapphire Community Portal.

I am genuinely looking forward to working collaboratively with you and your children throughout the 2023-24 school year.  Please know that my door is always open, and I welcome any questions or concerns you may have.  Together, we can ensure a successful and enriching academic year for all of our students.

Go Rams!

Sincerely,

David Kristofic, Ed. D.
