Dear Hance Families:

 

As you know, our students missed three days at the beginning of the school year as the district created a contingency plan to remediate mold. Pine-Richland School District contacted the Pennsylvania Department of Education to request an emergency waiver for the missed days. PDE has supported our request and application.Hance students WILL NOT have to make-up the missed school days. While our responsibility to meet a minimum number of instructional hours remains, our existing schedule and calendar will allow us to exceed that standard.  

 

We appreciate the collective effort of our staff, students, and parents to work together to provide a smooth transition back to Hance Elementary School.
