An Opportunity for Input
Process & Timeline
Dear Students, Staff, Parents. Alumni and Community Members:
One of our key initiatives this year is the development of the PRSD Strategic Plan for 2019 - 2023. The development and implementation of this plan will drive changes and improvements in our organization. As part of our approach to communication and engagement, we want to involve members of our business and residential communities, parent groups, workforce, student body, and those who can have a key voice in supporting and helping the district grow.
In the first town hall in October, we had 141 combined participants in the daytime and evening session. This total included 50 students at various grade levels in the district. In addition, we had 231 people respond through the electronic survey/input form. Thank you to all the participants!
You are invited to join us from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018, or 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, in the Pine-Richland High School Stadium Spirit Room, 704 Warrendale Rd., Gibsonia for our second Strategic Planning Town Hall Workshop in which we will focus on the short-term action steps under each long-term goal. We used feedback from our first face-to-face session and our electronic survey/input form as inputs to the current draft. For example, we added a long-term goal focused on sustainability and the environmental footprint. You can review materials and presentation notes by visiting our strategic planning website.

The sessions will be identical in design. We are offering a day and evening session to provide flexibility for attendance. During the day-time session, we will have cones to mark the parking area for this event. See the map to the right. Please RSVP by clicking on our short questionnaire. Thank you in advance for considering this opportunity to participate as we engage our community in setting direction for our district, while aligning to our mission, vision, and values.
