The Pine-Richland High School Expansion project continues to roll forward. The most outwardly visible work is being done on the parking lot. This site work continues and will continue throughout the summer. The high school campus and administration offices are closed to the public this summer while the work is being done. Crews are:

  • Finishing up utility work on the site work
  • Progressing on pond work on the site
  • Excavating the ground on the parking lot
  • Starting to put sub base in for asphalt work on parking lot
  • Prepping to put asphalt in place on parking lot.
Other work that's not so visible includes:
  • Steel work continues in back of high school
  • Demolition work complete on LGI Room
  • Demolition work complete on Guidance area
  • Drywall finished in kitchen
  • Plumbing plans in place for kitchen
  • Duct work in progress in kitchen
  • High School administration area demolition in progress
  • Main data room demolition in progress
The district has implemented a start date of September 6, 2011 to give crews time to ready the campus for the arrival of students. The project will have minimal impact on student operations.
