Message from Superintendent

March 9, 2020
Greetings to Pine-Richland Students, Staff, Parents and the Community,
In early January, we re-introduced the PR Graduate Portrait through a “Challenge” activity. We had 269 people accept the PR Graduate Portrait Challenge for Health & Wellness. In February, we introduced the Skills dimension. We had 493 members of our school community respond this month!
In terms of Skills, here is a quick snapshot of the responses from last month:
Our focus this month shifts to Personal Qualities and Characteristics. In addition to knowledge, there were a variety of skills identified last year by students, staff, parents and the community. These characteristics were developed and reinforced. As a challenge this month, we will ask you to rank order the items (most-to-least important) and then indicate whether you perceive each characteristic as a current strength for most students or an opportunity for improvement for most students.
