Community updates have been shared via district eBlasts and, upon board approval of Scenario B, will continue throughout the planning and implementation phases of this key strategic initiative, with the focus shifting to logistical work and the supportive transition of impacted students, families, and staff to their new building.
We look forward to supporting our students, families, and staff transitioning to a new building as a result of this process and will work to foster connections and relationships with the staff and peers in the new setting throughout the pending transition, prior to the 2021-2022 school year.
We are fortunate to live in this dynamic community and to offer an excellent education to our students at all three of our primary buildings, each of which performs in the top decile in Pennsylvania. Our education programs, supports, curricular and technological resources, and curriculum are consistent and continue to be improved across each of our buildings. We take great pride in the alignment and consistency of these buildings, for which we give thanks to our principals and Academic Leadership Council members, who facilitate coordination at each grade level and in each department. Most recently, the Pine-Richland School District was recognized with an award from the Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Performance Excellence at the Mastery Level, reflecting this commitment to continuous improvement, organizational excellence, and alignment across our educational system.
Thank you for your engagement in this process!
With Gratitude,
Kristen M. Justus, Ph.D.
Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education and Curriculum
