Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,
In an effort to streamline the contact tracing and quarantine process, our Certified School Nurses have teamed up to create new electronic letters to impacted families.
Each contact tracing scenario differs based on a variety of factors including the masking status of both the positive student and the close contacts, the distance between them, their vaccination status, etc. The new process requires families to assist in providing information and helping to determine the best fit for their child (e.g. vaccination status if not previously shared).
Should your child be identified as a close contact, impacted families will be asked to complete an attestation form, to share whether or not access to instruction will need to be coordinated for your child during their at-home quarantine period and to identify their anticipated date of return to school. Should you need any assistance with this process, please reach out to your child’s nurse or principal.
The attestation form should be completed as soon as you receive notice that your child was a close contact.
We appreciate your support and collaboration as we work to keep the kids in school with continuity in their learning!
Thank you!
