Mrs. Mary Grace Musuneggi Reminds Students to “Get up, Get Dressed, and Get Going”

“Get up, Get Dressed, and Get Going” On November 13, 2017, Pine-Richland FBLA continued our Speaker Series with Mrs. Mary Grace Musuneggi. Mrs. Musuneggi discussed the key factors that go into success and tips to motivate yourself to be more successful. The biggest concept Mrs. Musuneggi wanted to make clear to students was that you have to love what you’re doing. Using your skills and positive qualities to pursue what you’re passionate about means you’ll never feel like you are working a day in your life. Along with this, Mrs. Musuneggi encouraged students to go after what they want wholeheartedly and give it everything they have, because going after something partially doesn’t usually get results. Mrs. Musuneggi addressed that, on the road to success, not everything will go according to plan. We can get through these hiccups by doing three little things each day: “Get up with a purpose” “Get dressed and put your best foot forward” “Get going by knowing where you want to go and what you want to achieve” Finally, Mrs. Musuneggi left us with advice that can be difficult for some people, which is to not be afraid to ask for help. It is not a sign of weakness, but instead a sign of maturity. As a professional, it is a huge asset to acknowledge where you’re weaknesses are and be able to turn to someone to help strengthen them.

Thank you to Mrs. Musuneggi for taking time out of her day to come speak with Pine-Richland FBLA.
