Despite undergoing surgeries and treatments for cancer, Coach Wolfe never missed a game and helped lead the PRHS Baseball team to the WPIAL Championships in 2010.
In all, Coach Wolfe guided the Pine-Richland baseball teams to four WPIAL Championship rounds and one state championship.
Hall of Fame organizers credit him for showing great perseverance through personal adversity while inspiring members of the baseball team to organize a volunteer group which donates service back to the community.
Coach Wolfe will be among six Brentwood High School alumni officially inducted into the Hall of Fame. They will be honored at 5 p.m. on Oct. 4, 2014 at the South Hills Country Club. The banquet is open to the public. For more information, contact HOF secretary Jackie Alaimo, HOF Secretary, (412) 720-4801.
