Personal Fitness & Lifetime Activities

The purpose of this course is to enable students to acquire basic knowledge and skills in a variety of lifetime activities. The students gain insight in strength training and personal fitness in addition to several lifetime activities. The content may include but not be limited to Olympic strength training, developing a personal fitness program, golf, tennis, pickle-ball, swimming, snorkel-mask-fin, fly fishing, archery, disc golf, badminton, and yoga. Students learn the rules, skills and game strategies necessary for participation in each activity and an appreciation for these activities which in turn will lead to lifelong pursuits of physical fitness and a physically active lifestyle.
