PRA Swims for Cause

Eden Hall Upper Elementary School students represented the Pine-Richland Aquatics Swim Team as they presented a donation of $3,600 on a behalf of the team for Project Bundle Up.

Swimmers Abby Lane, sixth grade, and Ryan E. Scott, fourth grade, from Eden Hall Upper Elementary were interviewed on WTAE-TV as they presented the check live on television at 7:30 p.m. on December 4, 2015

In November, PRA swim team members received pledges to collectively as a team swim the distance from Pine-Richland High School to Downtown, which is equivalent to 20 miles depending on route.  Any swim team member raising $200 or more was given the opportunity to throw a pie in the face of the coach of their choice.  The PRA coaches have been running this event for years.

“It was a great night for the community to watch the kids having so much fun while helping others,” said parent Elise Scott. "It was a fun event for the kids and raised money for Project Bundle Up."
