Student Will Participate in FBI Leadership Program

FBI Award Pine-Richland High School sophomore Jessica Lott is being awarded a chance to undergo special training. Jessica earned the FBI National Academy of Associates Reward of Achievement. She will travel to the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia to spend eight days learning about leadership and physical fitness.

FBI Special Agent Brad Orsini and Lt. David Lane, of the FBI National Academy Associates, presented her with the award.

“I think just based on her background that she’s going to use this to the best of her ability, especially going forward when she goes onto college,” said Lt. Lane.
Jessica plans to major in business and marketing and be a leader in her field and hopes the program will help prepare her for just that.

“It’s going to be really hard because it’s going to be new, but I’m really looking forward to it because there’s going to be so many opportunities,” said Jessica, whose older sister earned the same honors four years prior.

In all, 60 students across the country will attend the leadership conference.
