6th Grade Animator Wins State Competition

Sixth Grader Deemed One of Best Young Filmmaker in State


Sixth grader Geneva Doughty is considered one of the best young filmmakers in the state after judges deemed the Eden Hall student’s film Fishhook as the best animated short film in the 2016 Pennsylvania Middle School Computer Fair. 

The annual fair, which highlights students’ application skills and computer technology, took place on May 25, 2016. Students are able to showcase their creativity, learn how to convey information more dynamically, and enhance the learning process.
Geneva's Fishhook also won both Best Directing and Best in Show awards at Pine-Richland School District's 2016  Rammy Awards ceremony in May. See her video below.
