PRHS Earns 4 Nominations in Gene Kelly Awards Program

Pine-Richland High School earned four nominations in the 26th annual Gene Kelly Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theater for its production “The Music Man.”
They include:
· Execution of Direction
· Lead Actor (Rush Hodgin portraying Harold Hill)
· Best Musical (Budget Level III)
· Best Costume Design (Budget Level III)
· Scenic Design
(Budget Level III)
Winners will be announced at a special awards program on May 28, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at the Benedum Center in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Rush has the opportunity to compete to represent the Pittsburgh awards program at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards program on June 27, 2016 in New York City.
The nominations were announced by the Pittsburgh CLO on May 5, 2016.
